Continuous Data-driven Analysis of Root Stability (CDAR) | ||
Welcome to the CDAR home page. CDAR (Continuous Data-driven Analysis of Root Stability) is a joint research project by a consortium formed by NLnet Labs, SIDN Labs, and TNO. This consortium was selected by ICANN to investigate the technical impact of the New gTLD Program on the Root Server System.
Our approach consists carrying large scale longitudinal Internet Measurements, and analyzing and modeling the Root DNS behavior. We are currently starting the project.
This study was launched with a presentation about the proposed study approach during the ICANN54 Dublin meeting in October 2015.
CDAR has already been concluded. The final presentation and report were presented at the ICANN 58 meeting, on March 13th, 2017, in Copenhagen,Denmark..
